I can’t say enough about this tour. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s everything u want from a tour. Marvin was excellent so kind and knowledgeable about the area. We went through the Mangroves stopped to snorkel twice. Once was with the stingrays and nurse sharks.. it was amazing. We also stopped at a beach to pick Jade. Then to put the icing on the cake he took us to a local restaurant for lunch. It was an amazing lunch. I highly recommend Marvin and this tour.

We did a full East End tour with Marvin and it was amazing. We have 3 teenagers and they all agreed that was the best day on the island! The tour was interesting and the snorkeling was fantastic and a delicious lunch was a great bonus. If you are wanting to try a fun adventure, this is the tour for you!

Today qe explored the Eastend of Roatan with Live Bait Tours and they were nothing short of amazing. Amazing local captains with incredible knowledge. We felt like family. Thank tou for such an amazing day.
Best day ever on Roatan!

Takes a while to write a review. We had our 3rd dream vacation back home to Roatan May 19-31, 2025 and did the east end tour with Live Bait on the 22nd. This father and son team are locals with an abundance of knowledge. They use a well maintained fiberglass boat and are very competent sailors who kept us safe in rough seas due to high winds that day. The large swells were very exciting though. They treated us to an amazing full day of experiences that were a highlight of our trip including riding through mangroves, stopping in a cool floating raft that served coconut drinks and food, different snorkelling sites- the best if which was swimming with nurse sharks and stingrays and spotting a black tip reef shark. They were persuaded to stop at a location unplanned which was very nice ch appreciated. Worth mentioning is the day that was arranged by our buddy Harris Feldman at our favorite Foster's Resort on West Bay Beach who can organize this day for you through Harris Island Tours. He arranged for our driver Jose Martinez from servico de Taxi to take us to the boat location. Jose's van was impeccably clean and he, as well, was knowledgable guiding us through to the east end, stopping at the Isery and lots of historic sites along the way. He too was influenced to go beyond what the package included to satisfy some of our group to just stop for one more thing. All involved in this combined tour went above and beyond making it an 11 hour day that we will never forget.

There's no better way to get to know the island than by experiencing it on this tour. These are moments we'll always remember!!

Matthew was truly an amazing host and guide for our private East end tour. Having grown up in the area, he was so knowledgeable of the history and geography of the area. We stay in West End area when we visit Roatan so it was so wonderful to see the other side, which is vastly different. The highlight of the day was snorkeling with Nurse Sharks. Highly recommend! A day for the memory books for sure!

This tour was incredible from start to finish. The snorkeling was beautiful, and Captain Marvin was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, patient, and so generous with his time, teaching us things we wouldn’t have learned otherwise. He was friendly, well-prepared, and made sure every detail was covered. An excellent experience we’ll be talking about for a long time!

This experience was our favorite on Roatan. The Eastend truly is special and Live Bait Tours is definitely 100% recomendable.

Another Unforgettable Experience with Live Bait Tours!

This was my second time booking with Live Bait Tours, and once again, they exceeded every expectation. I wouldn’t dream of booking with anyone else Captain Matt and his father truly make you feel like family.

This trip was extra special because I was joined by my wife, our 1-year-old son, my niece, nephew, and mother. Traveling with a group that includes young kids and elders can be tricky, but the crew made everything seamless and enjoyable. They were incredibly accommodating, patient, and thoughtful throughout the entire experience.

From the moment we stepped aboard, it was clear we were in for something magical. The sights, the stories, the laughter and warm Roatan water added up to memories we’ll cherish forever.
